Abby holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Abby found her passion for physical therapy after sustaining multiple injuries throughout high school as a competitive dancer. Before becoming a physical therapist, she participated in various roles within the fitness industry as a personal trainer, spin instructor, and kickboxing instructor. These experiences instilled a profound understanding and passion for fitness, laying the foundation for her current work.
Professionally, Abby has experience working in the outpatient orthopedics and sports settings with patients of all ages including athletes from NFL, MLB, and NFL draft-prep. She advocates for preventive care and functional rehabilitation, using movement-based healing to guide her patients toward their optimal physical well-being. Outside of being a physical therapist, Abby loves to spend her time reading, weightlifting, and planning her next vacation.
